In early August, Canopy MLS introduces a new square-footage field for properties with accessory dwellings. TotalPropertyHLA will become a calculated field that includes AboveGradeLivingArea, BelowGradeLivingArea and SecondLivingQuartersHLA. The existing TotalHLA field will be relabeled as TotalPrimaryHLA. 

Website vendors will be required to display both the TotalPropertyHLA and TotalPrimaryHLA if the amounts differ. Read the Canopy MLS Knowledge Base article for more info: Reporting Square Footage.
