On Tues May 20, Canopy MLS will be enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in our login service.  This new feature will offer you three different methods of confirming your identity:

• Email
• SMS (text message)
• Passkey

We’ll discuss Passkey authentication in an upcoming post but for now we will focus on the first two options. 

In order for MFA to be secure it is important that you have a valid email address or mobile phone number on your profile – and that this contact information is unique to you and is not shared with others.  There are reasons for using shared email addresses and if you currently use a shared email address on your profile in the system Canopy MLS is not asking you to change it.  Canopy MLS does strongly encourage you to make sure there is a valid mobile phone number on your account so that you are able to receive MFA codes in a secure manner.

You can visit your RAMCO Dashboard to review your profile and make any needed changes.
