Forewarn Account Access

A Forewarn account is provided to all licensed agents as part of a subscription to Canopy MLS.  This article explains some common issues that can appear when trying to access Forewarn.  If you would like more information about Forewarn, see our article Canopy MLS Now Providing Complimentary Prospect Intelligence with FOREWARN.

Licensees Only - Only licensed real estate agents and appraisers can obtain access to Forewarn. Unlicensed administrative staff are not eligible.

South Carolina Association of Realtors (SCAR) Primary Members – Canopy MLS members who are primary members of SCAR obtain their access to Forewarn through SCAR, not through Canopy.

Matching Email and Mobile Numbers

For Canopy members, you must setup your Forewarn account using the email address and mobile phone number that appear on your Matrix profile. To verify this information, you can look yourself up using the "Roster" search option in the Matrix toolbar.

If your cell number or email address do not appear or are not correct in your Matrix profile, you can update them in our RAMCO membership database.   To update your profile at any time, visit the Canopy Dashboard, click the RAMCO tile,

then click the green Update Your Profile button.  

 

On the Contact Information page, update your Mobile Phone and/or your Primary Email and click "Save".  Once your changes are saved it can take several hours for this information to travel from RAMCO to Matrix to Forewarn.  If you did need to add an email address or phone number, Canopy MLS recommends activating your Forewarn account the following day.

 

 

If you previously had a Forewarn account using a different email address or mobile phone number and are looking to switch to a Canopy supported account, you’ll need to contact Forewarn support at 561-757-4551 to let them know you’d like to switch and to give them the credentials that match the Canopy system.
