We’ve all been there. It’s 9:00 p.m. Your teacher assigned the big project a month ago, but you haven’t started it yet. It’s due tomorrow. Now you’re scrambling to throw something together as fast as you can – are you going to get it done in time?
Then you wake up, realize you graduated from school years ago, and it was all a dream.
And THEN you remember that you just closed on a listing 4 days ago, and you only have 5 days to get that Comp Sale listing into the MLS and all that “middle school stress” comes rushing back. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Here, “Incomplete” status is your friend. Once you are under contract on a listing you can begin your data entry whenever you’d like. You can enter as much or as little information as you have on hand, and save the listing as Incomplete to come back to later. You now have the entire time the listing is under contract to get the information together and all the data entered. After all that, once the closing is complete, you’ll just need to enter the closing details into your saved listing, change the status to “Closed”, and save the change. Something that is much easier to do within your 5-business-day limit.
