Canopy MLS has updated the “Use Rental Beast Tenant Screening Application” field to no longer have a default selection when you enter a rental listing.  The field is still required, so a selection must be made, but it will no longer default to “Yes” when you add a new Rental listing in the MLS.

In rental listings, there are two options for online applications.  If you select “Yes” in the “Tenant Screening” field, the Rental Beast system will automatically create a shareable link that is included in your listing that potential tenants can use.  Anyone using this application only needs to complete the process once, and they can then submit this application on any listing that has selected to use the Rental Beast Tenant Screening Application.

If you already have an online application, you can select “No” in the “Tenant Screening” field and enter the address of your application in the “Application URL" field. This link will then be shared with the listing.
